National Park
is one of the Myanmar (Burma) ecotourism, birding, birds watching tours sites that is situated on the Himalayas Mountain Range in the northern most part of

. It is very mountainous with rugged terrain and fast-flowing streams and incorporates
Mt.
Hkakaborazi
(5,881m, snow-capped mountain), which is the highest peak in south-east
Asia
. It is land locked with no transportation except by footpath and by bridge made of cane across the streams. This park is covered by evergreen, hill pine and moist upper mixed deciduous forests.
According to Ward F.K (1949), over 1,000 plant species (including the 85 species of orchids), especially
Myanmar
endemic tree species such as Paphiopedilum wardii, Rhododendron simsii, R. delavayi, R. stewartianum and R. pruniflorum can be observed.
The area hosts many Myanmar (Burma) birds (363 birds species recorded) and rare Myanmar (Burma) mammal species such as Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Tarkin, Musk Deer, Blue Sheep, Black Barking Deer, Red Goal, Leaf Deer Muntiacus putaoensis (
Myanmar
endemic), Bear, Red Panda and others.
