
It is located atop a valley in the Shan Plateau at Central Myanmar. Vegetation is primarily tropical mixed forest. Only 105 species of bird have been recorded, with others yet to be recorded. Highlights for bird include Grey Treepie, Blue-winged Leafbird, Jordan Buzzard, Sultan Tit, Great Tit, Siberian Rubythroat, Japanese White-eye, Hill Blue Flycatcher, White-browed Scimitar Babbler and Velvet-fronted Nuthatch.
In this Botanical Garden, the observation of the indigenous plant species such as 482 species of hardwood (12,127 numbers), 75 species of bamboo and 200 species of orchid, exotic 67 hardwood species, various indigenous species of garden croton from various parts of Myanmar and indigenous and exotic species of flowering trees (210 species and 410,322 number) on 369 flower beds can be viewed. In additional one can also do butterfly watching.
