     Nothern Myanmar

The watershed of mighty Ayeyarwady river, (1350 miles) and the golden covered Chin Dwin river (594 miles) are started from the northern part of Myanmar . The Himalaya ranges are also covered some part of northern part of the leveling. And also covered with rain forest. The natural resource such as Timber, Jade, gold, and biodiversities are very rich in this area. The botanist researcher Dr F Kingdon Ward was the first discoverer of this region in botanical research. The Japanese mountain hiker Mr. Takashi O Zaki and the local Rawan tribes Mr Nama Gyun Sein are the first conquerer of 5885 mile high (the highest mountain in south east Asia), snow-capped mountain, Mt Khakaborazi recently in 1996. The most race tribe Tarong (3' 26'') height Myanmar pygamy people live at the northern part of Myanmar at base of Mt. Khakaborazi (Tarong village). They are now suffered less of their generation. Only four persons of pure Tarong remain at present. This is the last frontier tribes for researchers of Anthropology.
The areas are covered with this green forest, clean flowing river, the beautiful simple tribes and nature conservation parks, the uniqueness of those areas.

Putao region

Myitkyina region

The capital of the Kachin state, located at the west bank of mighty Ayerwaddy. (This is the main administration city of the state.) Phakant jade mine, and Indawgyi lake are day drive from Myitkyina. The famous the natural resource areas and the beautiful nature area. (The Ayerwaddy confluence is started from 26 miles north of Myitkyina) can be reached by train and water way from Yangon and Mandalay .
Jeanphaw, Lisu, Kukkii, Lachik, Lawaw Hill tribes peoples live in this area. Many gate way to nabour cling by means of border trade, pitaung Wildlife sanctuary is reached with 2 hours drive for Myitkyina its famous for elephant conservation. The Kachin manaw festival of held in Myitkyina anually. Kachin races and tribes are gathering on this occasions for their new year.

Myitkyina to Bamaw, Bamaw to Katha by water way along the Ayerwaddy river is the paradise trip for bird watching. The migrate birds and the resident Himalaya birds are always welcoming the visitors. The first defile near Talawgyi and 2 nd defile near Shwekyin are really exacting to travel on the Ayerwaddy river. Ayerwaddy dolphins are attractive to travelers along this part. Katha is forever for this timber products. For 18 th century (colonial time) till to now, The timber extraction in still products.

The Hu Kaung Valley Tiger Reserve and Environ

One day drive from Myitkyina. Tanaing town is the main station for the reserve. (This is the world biggest tiger reserve (5958 sq miles) which was established by finest department and wildlife conservation society (USA base). Some Virgin forests are still located in the Valley. The local Naga tribes people Lisu, Kachin tribes people Khamti, Shan people live around this Valley. As rich in the forest resource, natural resource and biodiversity, gold mine, jade mine and forest products extraction is the main products of their areas. Sloughing with the elephant for cultivation in the unique of this areas. The world famous Ledo road (from India to China ) is passing through this Hu Kaung Valley.

Monywa areas

Monywa is the 2 nd largest trade sport at copper Myanmar . Agriculture products Thanbuday Pagoda, On the way to Monywaand daily commodity for the chin Hill region and upper Chin Dwin area are connected with this city. And also famous for some Indian's products trading via border trade activation. The area are ranging from religions edifies to historical monuments which if famous of Monyin Thanbudday, Shwetharung reclining Buddha image, Phoewin Taung are the historical heritage for Myanmar .

Twin Taung Lake (The site of the wonderful natural product of Spirulina)

Located at Butalin township about 2 hours drive from Monywa. Its famous for spirulinaTwin Taung Lake in Sagaing Division, upper Myanmar(North Myanmar) weed products. Naturally can get that weed from Twin Taung Lake . The spirulina is one of natural weed which content with full of minerals and vitamins. Now they establish the small cartage industry to product the spirulina pill as commercial demand.

Indawgyi Lake

Indawgyi Lake is located at Moenyin township. This is the largest Lake in Myanmar (214.67 sq miles ). The water covered lake areas on (100 sq miles) 1000 to 4000 of mountains are surrounded the lake. It is established as wildlife sanctuary in 1999. The ancient pagoda called Shwe Myitzu pagoda is located in the lake since 137 years ago. It is famous for its local festival. It is good for researcher of birds, fishes, mammals, forest and peleobiologist.

The Alungdaw Kathapa National Park

Situated of Sagaing division near Monywa. The area is 1605.79 sq km, established in 1989. There are moist upper mixed deciduous, dry upper mixed deciduous, lower mixed deciduous and prime forest are growing. More than Leopard, Gaver , Banteng, Beatrm Sambhur deer, Barking deer, Serow, goral, wild boar and other various species are found. (150)species of trees, (10)species of bamboo and (4)species of came are growing in this wildlife natural park (240) species of butterfly and (13) species of reptiles also lived in this park. Good research for flora and fauna in this park on rich in biodiversities. Kathapa great reclining Buddha image in the park named and famous for its local festival during December every year.

Mogoke (The Ruby Land )

Located at 7500 sea level. Myanmar people known as patamya Myay (Ruby Land) , became the brilliant rubies and supphires are pulled from this land for centuries. Also it is fame for her natural beauty and resources. Six hours drive from Mandalay to the northern east. The new rubies mines are developed, such as Pyin Lone and Mong shuu, but the quickly of rubies at still in the best up to now.

People and the Geba land

There has existed all along, social intercourse between the Geba and other nationals life the Shan and the Pa Os in the north and the Bamar in the plains since the days of Myanmar Kings. Their simple life style of peace and harmony with nature and mankind is most enviable.
