During our stay in Myanmar, I have been visited several interesting places; as Archaeological sites, beautiful beaches and some cultural places.
Now, I absolutely believe that Myanmar is such a place where we can experience a genuine and unique culture in all its original charm. From the moment I arrive in this hauntingly beautiful land, it will work its magic upon me. I don't want to leave that unforgettable images and memories of a remarkable land.
I love to sail along the Ayeyarwady, step ashore and visit some of Bagan's 2,000 abandoned temples and pagodas. This would be my last trip and after that I have to go back. So, I must think how much money can I spend. Actually, I prefer to cruise with the most comfortable and luxurious cruise, "Road to Mandalay". The Prices for Mandalay to Bagan trip (4 days / 3 nights) are about $2,190 per person in single cabin. Superior cabin: US$2190 per person in shared twin cabin, including Air Mandalay flights Yangon, Mandalay and Bagan / Yangon, full board, sightseeing tours in Mandalay and Bagan.
I had not too much money and so I choose the "Ayeyarwady Princess" which price is reasonable. So I decided to go in board "Ayeyarwady Princess".
The schedule begins every Sunday and Thursday. The right will be spent on board. When I land at Bagan airfield, our luggage will be conveyed to the steamer. I am very happy to view the sunset while dining on Ayeyarwady river. I would view the passing scenery. It is 4 nights and 3 days trip. Leaving Bagan at 7:00 AM on Sunday will get to Bagan at 6:00 PM on Tuesday. Cruising for 3 days and 2 nights, Bagan to Mandalay makes me unforgettable. The spacious cabins are air-conditioned and furnished with modern facilities where I can relax socialise. I can enjoy eastern and western delicacies. The price is only $265 for single cabin and double is $370 (Full board).
This time, I can enjoy with the Ayeyarwady princess. But next time, if I'll have the chance to spend a lot, I would experience with a cruise on board "Road to Mandalay", luxurious steamer or may be next time I will sometimes go with the cheapest price ship "Shwe keinari" (only $25 for one Pax).
But sure, I'll never forget all my fascinating dreams in Myanmar. |
